Senshido's
Professional Alliance Members
Some FAQ'S regarding our Professional
Alliance Members:
1. WHO IS PART OF SENSHIDO'S PROFESSIONAL ALLIANCE? Senshido's
affiliates come from various professional and martial arts backgrounds
worldwide. Some of our team members are high ranking martial artists
who chose to incorporate our programs into their already existing
curriculums while others chose to teach solely SPA programs as their
syllabus.
2. WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BECOME A SENSHIDO AFFILIATE? It is
mandatory for me to not only get to know those I certify and affiliate,
but also develop a strong friendship and bond with them. Although
their skill is a primary concern, what is even more important are
their personal qualities. Rest
assured that if someone is a member of our team, not only are you
dealing with an excellent educator & skilled fighter but also
a great human being.
Unlike other affiliate programs that are impersonal and 'corporate'
where 30+ members sit in a board room or class room with power point
presentations, lectures and binder full of notes, our affiliation
program is much more personal and one on one. A big part of the
affiliation program is getting to know the affiliate on a personal
level outside the training and working environment. For more info
on affiliating with us, please refer to the link on the side bar.
3.
DO SENSHIDO ALLIANCE MEMBERS STRICTLY TEACH SENSHIDO'S PROGRAMS?
As stated above, several of our team members are very experienced
or high ranking in other martial art disciplines and offer their
own programs. Some incorporate our research and drills into their
already existing curriculums while others teach 2 seperate programs.
4. WILL I LEARN THE SAME THINGS THE SENSHIDO HQ STUDENTS DO?
On a personal protection and street survival level, yes, you
will. The primary directive of these courses is in enhancing your
surivavibility and giving you a tactical edge. The curriculum primarily
deals with street survival, sitautional awareness, close quarter
combat and ground fighting, behavioural elements, and psychological
warfare from a street perspective as opposed to sport. The HQ Senshido
students however also get a very hard core MMA curiculum as part
of their weekly training that is not incorporated into the affiliates
program.
5. ARE GROUP CLASSES AVAILABLE? Some of our team members
offer them, some don't. The majority are available for private one
on one sessions and/or semi private group sessions (I.e. you and
3 friends for example). They are also available for seminars. Contact
them and see what their availability is like and what type of training
they offer.
NOTE: If someone claims to be an
affiliate or teaches any of Senshido's programs and are not on this
list, then they are not affiliated with nor endorsed by Richard
Dimitri and Senshido Inc.
